This comprehensive training course provides awareness of the role of the nursing assistant (WAC 246-841). A nursing assistant demonstrates competency in basic technical and communication skills and recognizes individual, cultural, and religious diversity. Specialty credentials in Dementia, Mental Health, Nurse Delegation, and Special Focus on Diabetes are included. A favorable background check is required to participate in clinicals (RCW 18.130.064). Lab fee $290.
