Instruction in basic skills for the adult who is unable to read, write, and compute sufficiently to meet the requirements of adult life. Emphasis is placed on practical application of basic skills to consumer economics issues in daily living. Special course sections are available for students who are developmentally disabled or have severe learning disabilities.
